Heavenleigh Cakes creations contain Eggs, Butter, Flour, Gluten, Wheat and Dairy.
All cakes are produced in an environment where Nuts are present.
It is extremely important that you make us aware of any dietary issues that may affect how we make your cake, if after you have ordered your cake you discover an intolerance or allergy issue please contact us as soon as possible.
Heavenleigh Cakes accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes therefore
it is the customers responsibility to make Heavenleigh Cakes aware of any special dietary needs.
Delivery and Setup
Heavenleigh Cakes strongly recommend that we deliver and setup any wedding orders to avoid any damage, stacked cakes can be very heavy and fragile.
It is between the venue and yourself to ensure the cake presentation table/furniture is stable, level and sturdy enough to hold the cake. Be aware that heat and humidity can adversely affect your cake, therefore, in warmer months it would be best to keep your cake in an air conditioned room. Also please do not refrigerate cakes. Heavenleigh Cakes is in no way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions.
I will deliver your wedding cake on the morning of your wedding.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that you have provided correct delivery information and to ensure that the venue is open and available at the arranged time.
Delivery and setup of wedding cakes within a 5 mile radius of our location in Basildon is free, charges for deliveries outside of this will incur a charge based on the distance of the venue.
Deposits
All wedding orders require a £100 deposit to secure your date. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances.
If you cancel your order, deposits paid are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. This may or may not be due to loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on that date to the event cancellation.
Heavenleigh Cakes will not treat your order as accepted until your deposit has been received.
Payment
Payments are made to Heavenleigh Cakes by bank transfer.
Final payments for wedding cakes are due six weeks prior to delivery and celebration cakes four weeks prior to collection.
Your order will not be released until payment has been received in full. We accept no responsibility for any loss howsoever caused for non-delivery under these circumstances.
Please note, if full payment of your wedding cake is not received 28 days before the delivery date, it is assumed that your order has been cancelled. The cancellation policy, therefore, applies in all cases. If after the 28-day deadline you try to make payment, we reserve the right to refuse your trade in all cases with complete loss of your £100 deposit.
Alterations and Cancellations
Please take the time to check the details of your order carefully, a labelled sketch will be sent to you for confirmation of design, size and flavours. It is your responsibility to contact us of any changes required to your original order. We will try and accommodate any changes where possible.
Any changes made to your original design are subject to a change in the quoted price. Included are supplies that may no longer be needed but have already been purchased. Please note we are unable to make any changes within six weeks of the delivery date for wedding cakes and celebration cakes.
Stand Hire and Returns
If you wish to display your wedding cake on one of our beautiful stands we have a wide variety to hire at no additional charge.
We require a refundable deposit which will vary on your choice of stand.
For your deposit to be refunded the stand must be returned within 48 hours of the date of the event undamaged and clean.
Damages
Heavenleigh Cakes are not responsible for any damage to the cake after delivery and setup is complete.
Either yourself or the venue are responsible for providing an appropriate, secure table and environment for the cake.
Heavenleigh Cakes are not responsible for damages as a result of temperature or weather.
Photography
We photograph our cakes upon delivery, as a result reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Disclaimer
If you’re unhappy with your order for any reason let Heavenleigh Cakes know immediately on the day of your event, most of all, without proof of why you’re unhappy with your order Heavenleigh Cakes will be unable to refund any portion of your payment.
